A Message From Madrid

Hey guys! It’s VERY hot here in Madrid. Had a wonderful day in the studio with Alex Ubago. We recorded a song for Autumn release. Our voices blended really well together. I enjoyed singing in Spanish and in English. We’re putting down violin on the track tomorrow and shooting the video on Thursday.

Getting great feedback in the UK and Ireland on the single. So fingers, toes, eyeballs and whatever else crossed!

Un mensaje desde Madrid

Hola chicos! Hace MUCHO calor aquí en Madrid. Ha sido un día maravilloso con Alex Ubago en el estudio. Hemos grabado una canción que se podrá oir en otoño. Nuestras voces se mezclan muy bien. Me he divertido cantando en español y en inglés. Grabaremos el violín para la canción mañana y grabaremos el vídeo el jueves.

Estamos teniendo una buena reacción al single en Reino Unido e Irlanda. Así que dedos de las manos, dedos de los pies, ojos y lo que sea cruzados!

Hi Guys,
Exciting times! I’m off to North of England tomorrow to do radio promotion. Thursday I’ll be in N. Ireland doing all the commercial stations and BBC. The single is released and available for download in Ireland on the 28th of August and in the UK on the 31st.
So fingers crossed we get a good chart position and more good airplay. Please feel free to ring up and request “Its Not A Dream” from your local stations… all help greatly appreciated!
So far it’s been amazing to be A-listed on BBC Radio 2 UK, 3 weeks in a row! Thanks to you all for your incredible support!
Recorded some lovely new stuff last week and I am really happy with the direction of the album so far. I’m due to release at the end of October but I’ll keep you posted on the exact date.

SEMANA DE ESTRENO
Hola chicos,
Momentos emocionantes! Me voy al norte de Inglaterra mañana para hacer una promoción en la radio. El jueves estaré en Irlanda del norte haciando publicidad y en la BBC. El single se podrá descargar en Irlanda el 28 de Agosto y en Reino Unido el 31.
Así que cruzaremos los dedos para conseguir una buena posición en la lista y tiempo en antena. Por favor, sentiros libres de llamar y pedir "It's Not A Dream" en las radios locales... toda ayuda será gratamente apreciada!
Hasta ahora ha sido increible estar en la lista A de la BBC Radio 2, 3 semanas seguidas! Gracias a todos por vuestro increible apoyo!
Grabé cosillas nuevas la pasada semana y estoy realmente contenta con la dirección que está tomando el album. El disco saldrá a la venta a finales de Octubre, pero ya os dire la fecha exacta.

Sharon will be appearing on the season premier of The Late Late Show, this Friday night, here in Ireland.

She will be playing her new single ‘It’s Not a Dream‘ and having a chat with Ryan Tubridy, who will be making his debut as the new host of the hit show.

The Late Late Show is the longest running chat show in Ireland (and the world!) and each weekly episode attracts one of the largest TV audiences in the country.

Women of Rock

Celebrating a decade dedicated to supporting breast cancer research and awareness programs, Hard Rock International today announced plans for its Women of Rock charity gala event. Scheduled for Sunday 1 November at the Royal Albert Hall in London, the concert will stage exclusive performances from some of the foremost females in modern pop music, including Melanie C, Joss Stone, Bananarama, Jamelia, Bonnie Tyler, Escala and of course… Sharon Corr!

Tickets go on sale this Friday 11th, but you can reserve your tickets on pre-sale here this week.

Funds will be raised for the Caron Keating Foundation, which offers financial support and grants to all types of cancer charities, professional carers, complimentary healing practitioners, as well as individuals and families who are affected by the disease.
